Dr. Montu Bose is a trained Economist with a PhD from University of Calcutta. His expertise includes Statistical Methods for Management, Managerial Economics, Health Economics, Health Financing, Economics of Social Sector and Public Health. He has more than two years of teaching and eight years of research experience. Before joining TERI School of Advanced Studies, he has also served at University of Calcutta, University of Delhi, Jadavpur University and Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).
Dr. Bose has published many papers in national and international journals and books. He has also presented papers in many national and international conferences, seminars and symposia. He was the first Indian recipient of the prestigious GNHE (Global Network for Health Equity) Fellowship, during 2013-14.
His research interest includes Health Financing, Social Sector Management, Environmental Health, Sustainable Health Systems and Epidemiological Transition. He has also qualified UGC NET and was the Departmental Research Support Project Fellow (DRS-I), Department of Economics, University of Calcutta.
