Dr Naqui Anwer is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Sustainable Engineering at TERI SAS, New Delhi and looking after the M.Tech (Renewable Energy Engineering and Management) as programme coordinator. Dr Anwer has an experience of more than 14 years of teaching B.Tech and M.Tech students. He acquired his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, M.Tech from U.P.Technical University, Lucknow and Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His areas of interests include Power Electronics, Power Systems and Smart Grid. His current academic and research activities includes Renewable Energy Grid Integration. During his professional career, he held various administrative posts and remains instrumental in designing and development of academic materials and establishing new laboratories. Number of his research papers has been published in international and national journals and conferences viz. Elsevier Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems and IEEE xplore. He authored a book titled "Electrical Automation: PLCs & SCADA" published from Arihant Publications, Delhi. He has wide exposure in organising national level seminars and conferences. He has delivered a number of conference papers and expert lectures on renewable energy and related fields.
